Feng Shui is not only about enhancing the flow of positive energy in your home, but also making sure this flow is not blocked. Here are the six deadly Feng Shui mistakes that you should avoid to keep the positivity flowing without obstructions.
Sofa Placement
Your sofas should be place on an angle, rather than in a sharp square against the wall. Another crucial mistake made when placing sofas is when two sofas are placed directly opposite to each other. Having two sofas face-to-face attracts confrontational energy and blocks the flow of positive energy.
Dining Table Placement
Your dining tables should be placed somewhere with enough space around them, so that they are not cramped. If there is a shortage of space, then place a mirror next to them, to give the illusion of sufficient space. It is also important to make sure they are not placed directly under a toilet in the floor above, or even next to a toilet on the same floor.
Dining Table Shape
Do not use square or rectangular tables, or any tables that has sides. Use circular dining tables instead of sharp-edged dining tables. Circular tables diminish family quarrels and disagreements, and even more so if they are made out of wood.
Which Side the Door Opens
Did you know that doors have a right side and a left side? Consider the door's hinge as the center point or viewpoint. Looking forward from this point, there are two sides to the door. There is a right side and a left side, like two cheeks to a face, the hinge being the neck in this context. When you open your door and look outside, the door's right side should be on the right hand side. If you break this rule, the forces of infidelity will influence the man of the household.
Mirror Placement in Your Bedroom
Make sure there are no mirrors in your bedroom that is facing your bed. Also make sure your bed is not reflected anywhere in your bedroom, in other large reflective surfaces or even on TV screens. Cover these reflective surfaces if you have to, If you don't, you are inviting a third party into your marriage.
Bed Placement
When placing your bed in your bedroom, make sure not to place it where there is a window behind your bed. Committing this mistake will make you become short tempered and stressful even with the smallest things. If you have no choice but to place your bed in front of a window, then close the window and cover it with curtains before you sleep.
