3. Chair - You have to have an office chair. You aren't going to get much work done if you just use a dining room table chair, because it will be uncomfortable after a while. You have to invest in a proper chair that has adjustable features. It might seem like a massive expense but it will be worth it in the long run.
4. Lights - When you work in a home office, you have to make sure that you have the correct lighting, especially if you spend a lot of time on the computer. Poor lighting can lead to eyestrain and even headaches. Therefore, it is recommended that you have pendant lighting from the ceiling, and you have some sort of lamp on your desk. Again, you don't have to spend hundreds on your lighting, but you do have to make sure that there is sufficient light so that you do not hurt your eyes.
