If you're trying to attract the best quality of Feng Shui energy to yourself, then you've got to make sure that you place your Feng Shui cures properly. Here's a basic guide on how to place your Feng Shui cures.
Step 1
Understand how Feng Shui works. You will need to familiarize yourself with the Bagua Map which outlines the 5 Feng Shui elements (wood, fire, earth, water and metal). After doing so, you will realize that certain elements need to face certain directions. Here is the comprehensive list of all 5 elements, the colors associated with them, the energy the colors support, and the best direction to face items you need to place.
- WOOD: green/brown; health and family; east
- FIRE: red/dark yellow/orange/purple/pink; happiness; south

Step 2
Match the energies. It's very important to make sure that the energy of your Feng Shui cure matches the energy in that same area of the Bagua (or energy map). Everything that you bring into your home needs to be placed in the proper direction so that the energy of it remains positive and don't clash or oppose each other. So for example, a fountain should be placed in a north, east or southeast position since that's the best direction to place the water element.

Step 4
Work with both energies. Once you understand the basic ideas of energies, colors and directions, you can begin to face your Feng Shui cures. Consider what energy you want to bring to your home (love? happiness? success?) And consider who you want to bring that energy to (you? spouse? child?) Then just work with both energies to best place your Feng Shui cure. Here is an example.
If your Kua number is 4, you already know that to bring love to yourself, you should face your Feng Shui cure facing east (based on your Kua number and the correct direction for love). So find something that represents love (a small statue will do the trick). Since the love energy needs to be placed in the southeast area, you must do this. But then face it east, for your lucky love direction based on your Kua number.
